Hazel Towers is a 5* International Event rider, based on her small family yard in Harrogate.
Hazel has produced two mares from scratch to 5* level, as well as several other horses to lower levels. Career highlights include both Badminton and Burghley completions 2018/2019, a win at Blair Castle CCI3* in 2017 on her own Simply Smart, along with countless top 10 placings at lower levels on younger horses. Hazel has a calm, sympathetic approach to training horses and riders meaning she gets the best results possible and with happy horses who enjoy their work.
Hazel shares her yard with her sister Phoebe, who has recently focused on breeding. The yard boasts 12 airy stone boxes and some large pens for youngsters, a 20x60m rubber arena, a larger grass training field with a few xc fences and banks etc. There are a selection of horses in work at any one time from newly backed 3 year olds to 5* super stars!
